Retatrutide dose guide

A peptide dosage chart, one peptide at a time: its dose range, how often it’s taken, a typical run and the units on your syringe. All 69 peptides in the PepVault library.

A community reference, not medical advice. Each range is what has been studied or is commonly run, never a dose for you.

Retatrutide dosage

The first triple agonist to reach phase 3: it activates GLP-1, GIP and glucagon receptors at once, and the glucagon arm adds extra calorie burn (shown in mice). Commonly reported: appetite suppression even stronger than tirzepatide, GI side effects after each step-up, and a higher resting heart rate. Its top dose averaged about 25–28% weight loss at 80 weeks in phase 3; it isn't approved yet.

Dose range
1–12 mg (research range). Trials and labels start at 2 mg and step up. Studied in research — not a recommendation.
How often
Weekly
A typical run
Ongoing. Phase 3 trials use continuous dosing. Community mirrors this — long-term with slow titration.
How it’s taken
Vial: SubQ injection
Evidence
Established: Clinical trials or FDA-approved use exists
Half-life
~6 days (measured in early trials in people)

Retatrutide on your syringe

With a 10 mg vial and 2 mL of water (5 mg in every mL), on a 1 mL (100-unit) U-100 insulin syringe: the low end, 1 mg, is 20 units; the start, 2 mg, is 40 units; and the high end, 12 mg, needs more than this vial holds. 10 doses in the vial at the low end. All U-100: 100 units to the mL. A U-40 syringe reads differently.
