Liraglutide dose guide

A peptide dosage chart, one peptide at a time: its dose range, how often it’s taken, a typical run and the units on your syringe. All 69 peptides in the PepVault library.

A community reference, not medical advice. Each range is what has been studied or is commonly run, never a dose for you.

Liraglutide dosage

The predecessor to semaglutide: a GLP-1 receptor agonist that reduces appetite and improves blood sugar control, given as a daily injection rather than weekly. Commonly reported: appetite drops and meals end sooner, though less dramatically than on semaglutide or tirzepatide, with nausea during the climb to 3 mg. FDA-approved for diabetes (Victoza) and obesity (Saxenda), with one of the longest track records of any GLP-1 drug.

Liraglutide on your syringe

With a 10 mg vial and 2 mL of water (5 mg in every mL), on a 1 mL (100-unit) U-100 insulin syringe: the low end, 0.6 mg, is 12 units; and the high end, 3 mg, is 60 units. 16 doses in the vial at the low end. All U-100: 100 units to the mL. A U-40 syringe reads differently.
