Pemvidutide dose guide

A peptide dosage chart, one peptide at a time: its dose range, how often it’s taken, a typical run and the units on your syringe. All 69 peptides in the PepVault library.

A community reference, not medical advice. Each range is what has been studied or is commonly run, never a dose for you.

Pemvidutide dosage

An investigational once-weekly GLP-1 and glucagon dual agonist from Altimmune, built for a gentler start: its two lower doses were given from the first injection without a dose ramp. In a 48-week phase 2 obesity trial, average weight loss reached 15.6% on the top dose (2.4 mg), and in people with fatty liver it cut liver fat by about half or more within 12 to 24 weeks. Its developer now develops it mainly for liver disease, with a phase 3 trial that began in 2026. Commonly reported: very little yet; it is rarely run outside trials.

Dose range
1.2–2.4 mg (research range). Studied in research — not a recommendation.
How often
Weekly
A typical run
Ongoing. Continuous weekly dosing in all its trials (12 to 48 weeks); no data on stopping or cycling.
How it’s taken
Vial: SubQ injection
Evidence
Moderate: Animal studies + some human data
Half-life
Not published: built for weekly dosing (its EuPort domain binds albumin to slow clearance), but no human half-life has been released

Pemvidutide on your syringe

With a 10 mg vial and 2 mL of water (5 mg in every mL), on a 0.5 mL (50-unit) U-100 insulin syringe: the low end, 1.2 mg, is 24 units; and the high end, 2.4 mg, is 48 units. 8 doses in the vial at the low end. All U-100: 100 units to the mL. A U-40 syringe reads differently.
