GLP-1 titration schedule planner
See the standard dose-escalation ramp for a GLP-1 — week by week, from the starting dose up to maintenance — for semaglutide, tirzepatide, and retatrutide. Adjust the pace to plan and track your own schedule.
Why GLP-1 doses are titrated
GLP-1 and GLP-1/GIP compounds are escalated gradually rather than started at the maintenance dose. Stepping up slowly is the standard approach in the clinical literature for letting tolerability — particularly gastrointestinal side effects — settle between increases.
The standard weekly ramps: semaglutide 0.25 → 0.5 → 1 → 1.7 → 2.4 mg; tirzepatide 2.5 → 5 → 7.5 → 10 → 12.5 → 15 mg; typically four weeks per step. These are reference ladders, not a prescription.
