Which unit does my peptide use?

1 mg = 1,000 mcg. Most research peptides (BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu, the GH secretagogues) are dosed by mass in mcg or mg. GLP-1 compounds like semaglutide and tirzepatide are dosed in mg.

IU (international units) only applies to HGH, where the WHO standard is ~3 IU per mg. Units on a syringe are a volume mark, not a dose — that depends on how you reconstituted the vial.
