A peptide dosage chart, one peptide at a time: its dose range, how often it’s taken, a typical run and the units on your syringe. All 69 peptides in the PepVault library.
A community reference, not medical advice. Each range is what has been studied or is commonly run, never a dose for you.
Myostatin is the brake on muscle growth — the protein that explains double-muscled cattle when it is missing. Follistatin is the body's own brake-release: it binds myostatin, and activin A as well, and mice over-expressing it grow muscle like myostatin-knockout mice. Its human evidence comes from gene therapy rather than from the vial sold as a research peptide, and the one published human series on the injected peptide is eleven bodybuilders who developed a retinal problem after high single doses, which cleared on its own in those who injected once. Commonly reported: injection-site redness, sometimes mild fatigue, and plenty of people reporting nothing they can separate from training — unsurprising when only about half the products tested (9 of 17) contained any.
With a 5 mg vial and 3 mL of water (1.67 mg in every mL), on a 0.3 mL (30-unit) U-100 insulin syringe: the low end, 100 mcg, is 6 units; and the high end, 200 mcg, is 12 units. 50 doses in the vial at the low end. All U-100: 100 units to the mL. A U-40 syringe reads differently.
