MOTS-c dose guide

A peptide dosage chart, one peptide at a time: its dose range, how often it’s taken, a typical run and the units on your syringe. All 69 peptides in the PepVault library.

A community reference, not medical advice. Each range is what has been studied or is commonly run, never a dose for you.

MOTS-c dosage

A peptide encoded by your mitochondrial DNA, the energy-producing organelles inside every cell. In mice it activates AMPK, the pathway exercise triggers, improving insulin sensitivity and exercise capacity, which is why it's called an "exercise mimetic". Commonly reported: more energy and better workout endurance over the first weeks, sometimes after a week or two of feeling tired. No human trial has tested it yet.

Dose range
5–10 mg (research range). Studied in research — not a recommendation.
How often
2–3× weekly
A typical run
4–8 weeks. 4–8 week cycles common, 2–3× per year. Common splits: Mon/Thu (2× weekly) or Mon/Wed/Fri (3× weekly). Limited long-term human data — none on continuous dosing.
How it’s taken
Vial: SubQ injection, IM injection

MOTS-c on your syringe

With a 10 mg vial and 2 mL of water (5 mg in every mL), on a 1 mL (100-unit) U-100 insulin syringe: the low end, 5 mg, is 100 units; and the high end, 10 mg, needs a stronger mix than one syringe holds. 2 doses in the vial at the low end. All U-100: 100 units to the mL. A U-40 syringe reads differently.
