## How it works.

GHRH analogue without the DAC modification. Its half-life in people hasn't been measured (native GHRH lasts minutes), and the short action gives pulse-like GH release. Usually stacked with Ipamorelin to mimic natural GH secretion patterns.

**Commonly reported:** A flush or head rush within minutes of injecting, deeper sleep and vivid dreams early on, and mild water retention over the weeks. The no-DAC form itself has no published human studies.

### Half-life & active level

The half-life of CJC-1295 no DAC is ~30 min (community estimate; not measured in people: sermorelin, the unmodified 1-29 chain, lasts 11–12 minutes).

Here's how a typical CJC-1295 no DAC schedule plays out over 48 hours (one-compartment estimate).

## Where CJC-1295 no DAC works.

- ### Brain, nerves & sleep

**Reported by users.** Commonly reported first: deeper sleep and vivid dreams.
- ### Appetite & metabolism

**Reported by users.** More lean mass and modest fat loss, with sleep strong and consistent.
- ### Muscle

**Reported by users.** Commonly reported in weeks 4 to 8: visible body-composition changes, more lean mass.

## Week by week.

What to expect in the first 8 weeks

- **Onset:** 1–2 weeks
- **Peak effect:** 8–12 weeks
- **Duration:** 8–12 weeks

1. Day 1–14 Community

   ### Sleep usually moves first

Commonly reported first: deeper sleep and vivid dreams. The short action is the point of the no-DAC form: sharp GH pulses rather than a raised baseline.

   The science

Mechanism: a GHRH-receptor agonist that amplifies GH release by activating GHRH receptors on pituitary somatotrophs. Countering somatostatin is what GHRPs like ipamorelin add, which is why the two are paired (Ghigo 1997). The short action avoids continuous receptor occupancy.

2. Day 14–28 Community

   ### Recovery is quicker, skin looks better

Commonly reported: faster recovery, and skin that looks tighter and better hydrated. IGF-1 rises only modestly with the no-DAC form, though that hasn't been measured in people.

   The science

Unlike CJC-1295 WITH DAC (5.8–8.1-day half-life, IGF-1 up 1.5–3x for 9–11 days; Teichman 2006), the no-DAC version is meant to keep IGF-1 milder, but its effect hasn't been measured in humans. In a human study, pulsed GH raised fat breakdown more than continuous GH, which raised IGF-1 more (Surya 2009).

3. Day 28–56 Community

   ### Body composition starts shifting

Commonly reported in weeks 4 to 8: visible body-composition changes, more lean mass and modest fat loss, with sleep strong and consistent.

   The science

No controlled human body-composition trial exists for CJC no DAC; the expectation rests on GHRH physiology (IGF-1, fat breakdown, lean mass) and user reports.

   Updated Sep 2026
4. Day 56–84 Community

   ### Cycle endpoint

Community convention is 8–12 weeks on, 4–8 off — but no RCT has defined a real endpoint here. GHRH analogs amplify your own pulses rather than overriding them, so the continuous-use case is defensible if labs stay stable. Holding, maintenance, or a break are all within reasonable practice; many find gains hold through an off-cycle if sleep and training don't slide.

   The science

CJC-1295 isn't FDA-approved, and FDA has flagged it for possible immune reactions and serious adverse events. Continuous dosing hasn't been studied for long-term safety; the 8–12 week on / 4–8 week off convention is community-driven conservative practice, not trial-guided.

   ### What CJC-1295 no DAC is built on

The no-DAC version is the short-acting counterpart of the DAC version, meant for pulse-like dosing. GHRH-plus-GHRP synergy has been shown in human GH studies since 1990, which is why the ipamorelin stack is the go-to; the no-DAC form itself has no published human studies.

   The science

DAC version (Teichman 2006, J Clin Endocrinol Metab): 2–10x GH increase, 1.5–3x IGF-1 sustained for 9–11 days per injection. The no-DAC version (Mod GRF 1-29) is chosen by users who want shorter, pulse-like dosing. No trial of the specific Ipa+CJC no-DAC combo exists, but the GHRH+GHRP synergy is well established (Bowers 1990).

   ### The core GH stack

The foundational GH stack: CJC-1295 amplifies each GH pulse and ipamorelin triggers it without raising cortisol (in animal studies), so together they give a larger GH response than either alone. Commonly reported: deeper sleep and better recovery than either alone.

   The science

Mechanism: a GHRH analog (CJC) plus a GHRP (Ipa) releases more GH than the sum of each alone, a synergy well established for the two drug classes. CJC-1295 with DAC raised GH 2- to 10-fold (Teichman 2006); the no-DAC form hasn't been measured in humans. Users commonly co-inject them from one syringe; no compatibility study has been published.

   ### Where CJC-1295 sits in the GH family

Think of the GH-secretagogue family in two halves: the GHRH side that lifts the baseline and the GHRP side that fires the pulse. CJC-1295 (no DAC) is a short-acting GHRH analog (its human half-life hasn't been measured), meant to amplify your own pulse — which is why it's paired with a GHRP like Ipamorelin instead of run alone. Sermorelin is the shorter-lived, gentler cousin; the with-DAC version is the long-acting one, which raises baseline GH while pulses continue.

   The science

CJC-1295 no DAC (Mod GRF 1-29) is a short-acting GHRH-receptor agonist that preserves pulsatile GH architecture; the with-DAC version binds albumin for a 6–8 day half-life and raises baseline GH while pulses continue (Ionescu 2006). Compared with Sermorelin (native GHRH 1-29, ~11–12 min half-life, more degradation-prone), the four substitutions in Mod GRF 1-29 confer enzymatic resistance and a cleaner pulse. Positioning only — drawn from established pharmacology, no new claims.

## Safety.

### Common side effects

- Water retention
- Headache
- Flushing
- Injection site pain

#### Interactions

No formal human interaction studies exist. The key mechanism-based consideration is glucose/insulin sensitivity from sustained GH/IGF-1 elevation — relevant alongside insulin or antidiabetic agents and worth clinician-guided monitoring. Almost always combined with a ghrelin agonist (ipamorelin) for synergistic GH release; this is well-described in practice but lacks formal combination safety trials. No documented interaction with SSRIs, anticoagulants, or thyroid meds; raise all medications with your clinician.

### Safety notes

CJC-1295 without DAC (mod GRF 1-29) is a short-acting GHRH analog with no published human safety study of its own; the phase 1 safety data (relatively well tolerated at 30–60 mcg/kg) are for the long-acting DAC form. FDA says it has identified serious adverse events with CJC-1295, including increased heart rate and systemic vasodilatory reactions, and flags a possible risk of immune reactions. Commonly reported effects are transient water retention, flushing, headache, tingling or numbness in the hands, and possible effects on glucose/insulin sensitivity from GH/IGF-1 elevation; as a short-acting form, these tend to be shorter-lived. Long-term human safety data are lacking. Discuss IGF-1 and glucose monitoring with your clinician.
